Volleyball Recap: Chicago Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Chicago Academy came into Friday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Intrinsic Mustangs on Friday.

Chicago Academy never let Intrinsic on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-6.

Chicago Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Intrinsic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

Chicago Academy will head out to face off against Kelly at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Trojans have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Intrinsic, they will host Farragut at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
