Football Recap: Ty Damstra Leads Christian's Defense on Friday

With a playoff win on the line, Christian rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 21-13 win over the Harper Creek Beavers.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Christian's defense and their five sacks. Leading the way was Ty Damstra with three.

Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Harper Creek, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.

Coming up, Christian will take on Portland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups. Harper Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
