Sun Valley had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Davidson Day Patriots by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Davidson Day scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 25-19, 25-18.

Blair Simpson paced Sun Valley's offense, picking up 13 kills. Simpson got some help from Riley Parker and her 32 assists. Parker was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Sun Valley's win bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Davidson Day, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-8.

Sun Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Cuthbertson on the 25th. As for Davidson Day, they have also already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Carmel Christian on the 25th.
