Channel Islands not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Coastal Christian Conquerors with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-18, 25-10.

Channel Islands can attribute much of their success to Riley Luna, who had 11 digs and two aces. Luna is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Luna wasn't the only good server: Channel Islands was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last three contests.

Channel Islands' victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Coastal Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Channel Islands will square off against Magnolia at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Sentinels will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight. Coastal Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
