Last Friday, Rocky Mount Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Faith Christian, taking the game 61-53. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Hank Berry continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Thomas Honey, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.

Rocky Mount Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Lawrence Academy played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by First Flight 86-38. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-21.

Rocky Mount Academy pushed their record up to 4-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Lawrence Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
