Sullivan entered their tilt with Cerro Gordo/Bement on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Broncos by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redskins also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Sullivan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16.

Aeralyn Thrasher paced Sullivan's offense, picking up eight kills. Thrasher got some help from Eiley Poe and her 11 assists. Thrasher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Sullivan's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Cerro Gordo/Bement, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Sullivan has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Oakland/Kansas/Shiloh on the 6th. As for Cerro Gordo/Bement, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Argenta-Oreana on the 6th.
