Soccer Recap: Oak Ridge Plays to a Tie

Oak Ridge was not able to secure the win in their season-opener on Friday. Neither they nor the Newark Memorial Cougars could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Oak Ridge didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against San Rafael on the 7th. As for Newark Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Rocklin on the 7th.
