Volleyball Game Preview: Rolla Bulldogs vs. Jefferson City Jays

Rolla hasn't had much luck against Jefferson City recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Jays at 6:00 p.m.

Rolla managed to slip by Sullivan the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Eagles on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since September 3rd.

While Rolla was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Jefferson City had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1.

Jefferson City had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-23, 25-19, 26-24.

Jefferson City now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Rolla, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6-2.
