Wasilla faced North Pole in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 48-27 margin over the Patriots. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won six games by 21 points or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Wasilla and bumps their season record up to 7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.0 points over those games. As for North Pole, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wasilla will square off against Chugiak at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for North Pole, they will challenge Colony at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
