            Volleyball Recap: Edgerton Flying Dutchmen vs. Pipestone Arrows        
        
		
        
        
            Edgerton was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They came up short against  the Pipestone Arrows, falling  3-0. The Flying Dutchmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Arrows apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in September of 2024.
 Edgerton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-11,  25-19.
Their offense was headlined by  Kya Voge and  Reese Vande Griend, who picked up five kills apiece. Voge also shared the team's lead in assists with  Cali Wagner: they picked up seven each. Voge was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
Edgerton's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Pipestone, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record  this season.
 Edgerton will square off against Russell-Tyler-Ruthton at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Pipestone, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. James  at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
