Basketball Game Preview: Livingston Central Cardinals vs. Lyon County Lyons

Livingston Central is 2-8 against Lyon County since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Livingston Central Cardinals will head out on the road to take on the Lyon County Lyons at 7:30 p.m. Livingston Central will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Monday, Livingston Central beat Ballard Memorial 37-29.

St. Mary typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Lyon County proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 54-44 win over the Vikings. The victory continues a trend for the Lyons in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won four in a row.

Livingston Central's record now sits at 10-15. As for Lyon County, their record now sits at 20-8.

Things could have been worse for Livingston Central, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-40 loss to Lyon County in their previous matchup back in January. Can Livingston Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
