Football Recap: St. John's Jesuit Titans vs. Anthony Wayne Generals

St. John's Jesuit fell victim to Anthony Wayne and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 34-0 loss at the hands of the Anthony Wayne Generals. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Generals are ranked 81st).

Anthony Wayne had a senior duo take command as Braden Gardner gained 202 total yards and three touchdowns and Grant Kinnee rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Gardner got the majority of those yards when he took off on a run and that went for an incredible87 yards.

St. John's Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Anthony Wayne, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John's Jesuit will face off against St. Mary's Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
