Basketball Game Preview: American Eagles vs. Kennedy Titans

American is on a three-game streak of home losses, Kennedy a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The American Eagles will host the Kennedy Titans at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but likely not for long.

American is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 56 points on Tuesday, they were much more limited against Moreau Catholic on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Mariners and fell 96-23. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Kennedy strolled past Arroyo with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 55-37.

Kennedy has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for American, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12.
