Volleyball Recap: Mt. Vernon Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Mt. Vernon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Wood Memorial Trojans by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Mt. Vernon walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23, 26-28, 25-23.
