Football Game Preview: Madison West Regents vs. Madison La Follette Lancers + How To Watch

The Madison West Regents will challenge the Madison La Follette Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison West will be strutting in after a victory while Madison La Follette will be coming in after a defeat.

Madison West took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They secured a 27-21 W over Madison Memorial.

Meanwhile, Madison La Follette took a blow against Verona on Friday, falling 54-21. While losing is never fun, the Lancers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 239th, while the Wildcats are ranked 30th).

Madison West will have to keep a close watch on Patrick Toomey and Shaun Peeler, a pair of players who had a big impact on Madison La Follette's prior game. Toomey rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, while Peeler rushed for 110 yards and one TD on only six carries.

Madison West now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Madison La Follette, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
