Dilley won against Hondo on Tuesday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Wolves walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Lytle Pirates. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-3 back in March.

Izabella Proctor made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Proctor was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alyssa Perez, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Madelyne Proctor, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

The win made it two in a row for Dilley and bumps their season record up to 13-7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Lytle, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-15-2.
