Basketball Recap: Burbank's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Burbank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 75-57 to the Highlands Owls. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-50 back in December of 2024.

Burbank's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-16. As for Highlands, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Brackenridge the next time they take the court. Highlands will host Brackenridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while Burbank will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on January 21st.
