Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Atascocita). They breezed by the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots to the tune of 63-31 on Saturday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Several Patriots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kindall Houston, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Madyson Dumphy, who earned 11 points.

Atascocita's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-12. As for Goose Creek Memorial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atascocita will venture away from home to face off against King at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. King will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Atascocita surely won't give up without a fight. As for Goose Creek Memorial, they will head out to square off against Kingwood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
