Muenster entered their tilt with Chico on Tuesday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Dragons 13-3. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Dragons, too.

Lilly Johnson was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Emma Walterscheid also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Muenster was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .520. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in seven consecutive matchups.

Muenster's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Chico, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Muenster will challenge Lindsay at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lindsay will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Muenster surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chico, they are taking a road trip to take on Nocona at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Chico's pitchers better be ready for this one: Nocona has averaged an impressive 11.4 runs per game this season.
