With a playoff win on the line, Mendota rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions 6-0. The result was nothing new for Mendota, who have now won 21 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Harvest-Westminster with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cesar Casas (3), Johan Cortez, Maurcio Salinas, and Arian Chavez.

The victory (which was Mendota's fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matchups. As for Harvest-Westminster, the defeat snapped their winning streak at 12 matches and leaves them with a 24-4-1 record.

Mendota has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Quincy Notre Dame on the 3rd. Harvest-Westminster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
