Wrangell waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Haines Glacier Bears by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Alana Harrison paced Wrangell's offense, picking up six kills. Harrison got some help from Christina Johnson and her 12 assists. Harrison was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Wrangell's victory bumped their record up to 4-5-1. As for Haines, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Wrangell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Craig on the 17th. As for Haines, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Petersburg on the 17th.
