Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Willamette). They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Grants Pass Cavemen on Monday. For Willamette, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win Grants Pass walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Willamette's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-4-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Grants Pass, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Coming up, Willamette will venture away from home to face off against Roseburg at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roseburg's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Grants Pass, they will be playing at home against South Eugene at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
