Basketball Recap: Wallace Takes a Loss

Wallace lost against Genesis Prep Academy last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The matchup between the Wallace Miners and the Genesis Prep Academy Jaguars didn't end well, with the Wallace Miners falling 69-51.

Despite the loss, Wallace still got an impressive performance from Julian Davis, who went 6-for-12 on his way to 25 points and seven rebounds. Davis has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last ten times he's played. Another player making a difference was Cooper Miller, who posted 12 points and five boards.

Wallace's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Genesis Prep Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record this season.
