St. Mary and Folsom squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but St. Mary's had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

St. Mary's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Pelenani Danielson, who had seven digs and four aces. Another player making a difference was Rachel Nemee, who had 15 digs.

Khloe Wong was nothing short of spectacular for Folsom: she had 19 digs and three aces.

St. Mary's loss dropped their record down to 22-12. As for Folsom, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-9 record this season.

St. Mary's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Folsom, they will square off against West Park at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
