Basketball Recap: Sullivan West Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Sullivan West hadn't done well against Monticello recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Sullivan West Bulldogs walked away with a 46-39 win over the Monticello Panthers. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 76-45 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Sullivan West has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Monticello, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Sullivan West has already played their next matchup (against Livingston Manor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Monticello will head out on the road to square off against Minisink Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th.
