Soccer Recap: Clarke Central Takes a Loss

Clarke Central and Oconee County pushed the score to 8-0 the last time they played Oconee County, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Gladiators fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Clarke Central couldn't quite close it out.

Clarke Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Oconee County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Clarke Central will challenge Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Oconee County, they will square off against Habersham Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
