It was a good run, but Ponderosa unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 19-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodcreek Timberwolves. The Bruins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Timberwolves earlier this season, when they won 13-6.

Even if they lost, Ponderosa's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. Leading the way was Bella Escobar with three.

Ponderosa's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 10-6. As for Woodcreek, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.
