Basketball Recap: Native American Community Academy Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Native American Community Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 53-42 to the Hatch Valley Bears on Friday. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Hatch Valley's victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Native American Community Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McCurdy at 3:30 p.m. on February 1st. Hatch Valley has already played their next matchup, a 53-42 win against Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy on the 17th.
