LEE needed a changed in momentum after dropping six straight matches and they got it from Elizabeth Weis. Everything went the Volunteers' way against the SA Roosevelt Rough Riders on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win thanks in part to Weis, who had 16 digs and five assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more digs the last 15 times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-9.

The victory got LEE back to even at 16-16. As for SA Roosevelt, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-27 record this season.

LEE has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Reagan on the 14th. As for SA Roosevelt, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Churchill on the 14th.
