Garland Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Lakehill Prep Warriors, falling 29-17. Even though they lost, the Swordsmen's still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.7 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Garland Christian Academy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alivia Owen, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Owen also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another was Grace Beaumont, who went 2-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and one double.

Garland Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lakehill Prep, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

As of now, neither Garland Christian Academy nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
