Central Christian came tearing into Saturday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Elyria Christian. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against Elyria Christian back in September, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Central Christian was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-14, 25-14.

Reese Swanson paced Central Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. SwanSon got some help from Avery Kauffman and her 26 assists. Kauffman also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ava Newcome, each putting up two.

Central Christian's win bumped their record up to 24-10. As for Elyria Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-22-1.

Central Christian has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Hanover on the 25th. Elyria Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
