Volleyball Game Preview: Carson Senators vs. Bishop Manogue Miners

Carson is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Bishop Manogue is on a six-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Senators will host the Miners at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Carson was able to grind out a solid win over Damonte Ranch, taking the game 3-1.

Carson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-16, 25-20, 28-26.

Meanwhile, Bishop Manogue got the win against Galena on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Bishop Manogue not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Galena between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-16.

Bishop Manogue's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Carson, their win bumped their record up to 19-5.
