Football Recap: The Meadows School Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The Meadows School extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 2-6. They had to suffer through a 57-26 loss at the hands of the Pahrump Valley Trojans. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the defeat, The Meadows School had strong showings from Cameron Pereira, who threw for 350 yards and two TDs, and Ryan Kirk, who picked up 141 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

As for Pahrump Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-3. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won five matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.

Kayne Horibe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 99 yards and three scores on only six carries, while also throwing for 96 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six passes. What's more, he racked up 149.3 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August. Another player making a difference was Josh Slusher, who rushed for 61 yards and one TD on only five carries.
