Softball Game Preview: Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals vs. Highland Hornets

The Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals will be taking part in a tournament against the Highland Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy has four straight victories, Highland has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Beaumont School with a sharp 9-0 win. The Royals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Cuyahoga Falls hit Highland with a four-run first inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hornets fell just short of the Black Tigers by a score of 7-6.
