Football Recap: Wildorado Mustangs vs. Hart Longhorns
Wildorado extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were outmatched by the Hart Longhorns and fell 82-25. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Longhorns apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Yael Soltero had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 196 yards and four TDs on only nine carries, and also picked up 79 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks, forcing one fumble, and making ten total tackles. Another rusher making a difference was Tradien Worsham, who rushed for 105 yards and a pair of scores.
Wildorado didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 75-71 defeat against Groom on the 26th. As for Hart, they have also already played their next matchup, a 51-24 victory against Wellman-Union on the 26th.
