Douglas can bid farewell to their 18-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 38-27 win over the Hot Springs Bison. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Douglas' victory ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-10. As for Hot Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Douglas will challenge St. Thomas More at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hot Springs, they will square off against Lead-Deadwood at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hot Springs is facing Lead-Deadwood at the right time seeing as Lead-Deadwood is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
