Basketball Recap: Josh Woodard Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill

Friendship Christian hadn't done well against Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Friendship Christian Falcons came out on top against the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion by a score of 41-28. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Lion last Tuesday, they had to take a 51-45 defeat.

Friendship Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Josh Woodard out in front who posted 13 points and six boards. Hunter Peed was another key player, putting up 14 points and six rebounds.

Despite the loss, Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill still got an impressive performance from Solano Barbeito, who scored four points and three blocks. That's the most blocks Barbeito has posted since back in January of 2024.
