The Mount Vernon Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the North Springs Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Mount Vernon was the victim of a tough 5-2 defeat at the hands of Riverwood.
Meanwhile, North Springs kept a clean sheet against The King's Academy on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Knights. The victory was just what North Springs needed coming off of a 4-1 loss in their prior matchup.

Ethan Wilson, who scored both of North Springs' goals. Those were goals were season-firsts for both players.
Mount Vernon now has a losing record at 0-1-1. As for North Springs, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
