Basketball Recap: Cardinal Stritch Falls Despite Big Games from Amaya Hill and Morgan Kennedy

It was a proper cat-fight when Cardinal Stritch took on Bowling Green on Monday. The game between the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals and the Bowling Green Bobcats didn't end well, with the Cardinal Stritch Cardinals falling 44-28. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cardinal Stritch's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Morgan Kennedy, who posted 16 points and five boards, and Amaya Hill, who put up eight points and 13 rebounds. Hill is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.

Cardinal Stritch's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Bowling Green, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Cardinal Stritch will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calvert at 1:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Bowling Green, they will welcome Clay at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
