Softball Recap: Western Reserve Roughriders vs. South Central Trojans
Western Reserve extended their losing streak to six on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 2-8 in the process. They lost 13-3 to the South Central Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 on Monday.
Western Reserve saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Layken Barnhart, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Lilliana Jarrett also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
As for South Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-10 record this season.
