Soccer Game Preview: East Columbus vs. East Bladen

East Columbus is 0-9-1 against East Bladen since October of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Gators will host the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. East Columbus has given up an average of 3.9 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for East Columbus' offense. They came up short against Hobbton on Monday, falling 9-0. The shutout was out of character for East Columbus seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Meanwhile, East Bladen kept a clean sheet against Lakewood on Monday. They put the hurt on the Leopards with a sharp 7-0 win. Ishaq Algozy was a massive factor in the win as he booted in six goals all by himself.

East Bladen's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four matchups. As for East Columbus, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-2.
