Basketball Recap: Camden County Sets Scoring Season-High Against Eastern Randolph

Camden County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 42-26 fall against the Eastern Randolph Wildcats. One positive for the Bruins, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Camden County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Julia Doppler posted eight points and five rebounds. Those eight points gave Doppler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hayley Neff, who had eight points.

Camden County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Eastern Randolph, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Camden County and Pasquotank County will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden County is facing Pasquotank County at the right time seeing as Pasquotank County is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Eastern Randolph, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Eastern Randolph Wildcats challenge the Randleman Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
