Basketball Recap: Minneola Takes a Loss

Minneola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 53-42 to the Ingalls Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 50-32 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Minneola still got an impressive performance from Braegen Shelor, who posted 14 points and seven rebounds. Raena Temaat was another key player, putting up seven points.

Ingalls' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jennasey Stoudemire led the charge by earning 14 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Stoudemire a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Olivia Stein, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds.

Minneola's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Ingalls, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Minneola didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-55 win against Moscow on the 7th. As for Ingalls, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 33-32 defeat against Dighton on the 7th.
