Baseball Recap: Chandler Prep Has No Trouble Against Miami

Chandler Prep made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Miami, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Chandler Prep Titans blew past the Miami Vandals 14-1 on Wednesday. Considering the Titans have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Isaac Swanson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Niall Schubring was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Chandler Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .541. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Miami only posted an OBP of .286.

Chandler Prep's record is now 5-1. As for Miami, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Chandler Prep will venture away from home to face off against Horizon Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Miami, they will welcome Lincoln Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
