Volleyball Recap: Academy for Innovative Education Comes Up Short

Academy for Innovative Education was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miami Springs Golden Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-19, 19-25, 25-12, 25-23.

Academy for Innovative Education's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Miami Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Academy for Innovative Education will square off against Horeb Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Aviators surely won't give up without a fight. Miami Springs has already played their next match (against iMater Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
