West Grand has gone 8-2 against De Beque recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the West Grand Mustangs will get right back to it and host the De Beque Dragons at 1:00 p.m. West Grand's defense has only allowed 23.3 points per game this season, so De Beque's offense will have their work cut out for them.

West Grand is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing North Park: they outscored them in every quarter. West Grand strolled past North Park with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 40-21. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Wildcats are ranked 288th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, De Beque had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They slipped by the Mustangs 43-42.

De Beque has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.9 points per game. As for West Grand, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.

West Grand strolled past De Beque in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 31-16. Does West Grand have another victory up their sleeve, or will De Beque turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
