Volleyball Recap: Forsyth Central Starts Season with Win at Home

Forsyth Central gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Brookwood Broncos by a score of 3-1.

Forsyth Central walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-11, 10-25, 25-22.

Forsyth Central was led to victory by Summer Frost and Maddy Cash. Frost had eight aces, while Cash had five aces. Those eight aces gave Frost a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Forsyth Central will venture away from home to take on Cherokee Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brookwood, they will challenge Oconee County at 9:00 a.m. on the 9th.
