It was a good run, but Riverside unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Friday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Eastside Eagles who were credited with the victory. The Eastside Eagles got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to the Riverside Warriors' five. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Eastside this season, with their most recent loss being a 1-0 defeat back in April.

Riverside's goal came courtesy of Piper Grubs, who's now up to three this season.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5-1. As for Eastside, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

As of now, neither Riverside nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
