A Season-Best Performance from Jayden Evans Leads West Johnston over Smithfield-Selma

Jayden Evans produced his most outstanding game to date while leading West Johnston to the win on Friday. Evans wasn't messing around, forcing a fumble and making 16 total tackles (2.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception. The matchup was his third straight with nine or more total tackles dating back to last season.

The victory (which was West Johnston's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Evans and West Johnston will head out on the road to square off against C.B. Aycock at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
