Volleyball Recap: Omaha R Finds Home Court Redemption Against Varsity Opponent

There's no place like home for Omaha R, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They skirted past Varsity Opponent 3-2. The Roadrunners haven't had any issues with Varsity Opponent recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Omaha R had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 23-25, 25-14, 25-15, 15-10.

Maya Kellogg paced Omaha R's offense, picking up 13 kills. Kellogg got some help from Makenna Humann and her 39 assists. Mary Vankat and Isabella Crowell kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Omaha R's victory bumped their record up to 44-7-4.

Omaha R does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Maryville Christian on the 23rd.
